Very great place for casual dining! Food is indeed home cooked so it makes it taste that much better!
This town doesn't have a lot going for it but I always love going back there my best friend since age five and I go there once a month at the same time and order the same thing they have it clean and they even remember the order it's a good place for a small town diner! Wayyyy better than donnas diner and 100 times friendlier!
However, THEY ONLY TAKE CASH!!
Fair warning lol and if you forget there is an atm located right across the street in the plaza by rite aid after reyers and they usually let us forgetful people run over here and pull the cash out especially if you're a regular!
Bring cash and tip well these ladies deserve it!!!!! -

Hot dogs with sauce for $1? Yes please! We were visiting Sharon for Water Fire Sharon and had originally planned on going to Quaker Steak. We stumbled uponn this little shop on our way over and decided to have dinner there instead. It was a fantastic decision.
The menu is basic, but there is a decent variety. But since it is a hot dog shop, why not enjoy their namesake. The Hot Dog shop also features home made pies and rice pudding, so save room for dessert.
I'm not in Sharon very often, but the next time I visit, the Hot Dog Shop will be on my list of places to stop. -

I've been there a couple of time. The atmosphere is nice. food is okay. The service is good. It's an ideal place to meet locally for lunch

Walk through the front door and step back in time. It's a formica museum with old school booths and counter. 3 of us ate lunch for $12 - all in. Its an old school restaurant that serves simple food at a cheap price.

What an embarrassment to the Greek community. Walked in about 2 weeks ago to order takeout. Waitresses, especially the young skinny redhead, really rude, as she was talking about her probation officer with the other girl. Then, after I asked who the owner was, she said " I don't know ". So I asked her how she could work somewhere and not know who signs her paychecks?....She laughed and just ignored the issue, as she screwed up my order. She needs not to be working there.
